(PRESS RELEASE) – The Department of Infrastructure, Ports and Energy wishes to inform the motoring public that Roseau to Vanard road will remain close to vehicular traffic on February, 16th, 2018 from 8:00am to 6:00pm.
Unfortunately due to frequent rain showers the Contractor has been unable to complete works as scheduled hence the request to extend the traffic diversions. This is to facilitate paving of the full width of the road.
The public is hereby notified of the following diversions:
Traffic between Roseau and Jacmel will be diverted to the Dierre Lagoon road.
Traffic between Jacmel and Vanard will be diverted to the Sarrot to Millet road.
Commuters are asked to drive with caution and obey all the Traffic Signs, which will be posted for guidance and safety.
The Department of Infrastructure, Ports and Energy wishes to apologize for any inconveniences, which may be caused as a result of the road works.
