(PRESS RELEASE) – The Department of Infrastructure, Ports and Energy wishes to inform motorists and the general public of the following:
The Closure of the Choc Bridge on Sunday, December 3, 2017 from 7am until completion. This is to facilitate repairs to the Choc Bridge. The Union to Grand Reviere road will serve as an alternate route to the North and surroundings.
The Cleaning of the Median Barriers and Bollards along the Castries Gros-Islet Highway between Vigie and Choc Roundabouts on Sunday, December 3, 2017 from 6:00am to 6:00pm. During the works there will be complete closure of the lane nearest to the median barriers and bollards in both directions.
Motorists and the general public are urged to proceed with caution and to adhere to traffic management and safety measures. The Department of Infrastructure, Ports and Energy wishes to apologise for any delays and inconvenience caused during implementation of the works.
